Systemhaus Dialog 2030

Inspiration for the IT Services Business of the Future

EuroCloud Germany launched the “Systemhaus Dialog 2030” in 2025 as a platform for strategic guidance within the IT services sector. The series of workshops addresses the profound changes currently facing system integrators, managed service providers (MSPs) and regional cloud service providers (CSPs). The focus is on the question of how traditional business models can be sustainably developed in the face of the ongoing transformation towards cloud-based, service-oriented offerings.

The format is based on the recognition that the economic conditions for system integrators have changed fundamentally. Falling margins in the traditional project and hardware business, rising personnel and operating costs, and new security and compliance requirements are increasing the pressure to transform. At the same time, technologies such as artificial intelligence and the trend towards “X-as-a-Service” models are changing customer expectations. EuroCloud Germany has created the Systemhaus Dialog as a platform to provide Managing Directors and division heads in the industry with practical guidance and strategic impetus for the future positioning of their companies.

Trust-based exchange on an equal footing

The nature of this series of events is specifically designed to differ from traditional conferences or lecture formats. The workshops are held with a small number of participants (25 – 30) to facilitate an open and confidential exchange on an equal footing. The focus is not on standardised solutions, but on concrete case studies and brief practical insights from channel players. These serve as the basis for moderated discussions on real strategic decisions and operational challenges. The dialogue between participants creates a framework in which experiences, risks and future prospects can be openly discussed.

In terms of content, the Systemintegrator Dialog focuses on key future issues in the IT services business. A key focus is on the cost-effectiveness of existing service offerings. The workshop series also addresses the future role of system integrators in a market increasingly shaped by regulatory requirements.

Impact of the AI transformation

Another key focus is on the impact of AI on the IT services business. In particular, the discussion will cover how customer expectations are changing as a result of AI-supported services and what new service offerings may emerge from this. At the same time, the workshops will examine the organisational changes that will be required within companies. The increasing responsibility for the ongoing operation of IT services is changing not only the demands placed on technical teams, but also on sales, consulting and customer support. In addition, the workshop series addresses the strategic question of which skills must be developed internally in future and in which areas partnerships or external service providers remain a sensible option.

The first workshops took place between April and June 2025 in Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich and Paderborn. eco members nLighten, Westcon-Comstor and ITENOS provided support. Speakers included executives from member companies such as AirITSystems, Bechtle, DATAGROUP, enthus and Proact, as well as a number of guests.

Special edition on Managed Security

Right from the outset, there was considerable interest from the industry in a format that addresses strategic issues openly and in a practical manner. In September 2025, the Systemhaus Dialog expanded to include a special edition on Managed Security Services as part of the Internet Security Days at Cologne’s RheinEnergieStadion. This event addressed the new regulatory requirements in the security landscape and focused on the growing responsibility of system integrators in the context of cybersecurity and compliance.

Overall, the Systemhaus Dialog has established itself as an important platform for the strategic development of the IT services market. The series supports companies in their transition from traditional product and project-based business to sustainable, cloud- and service-based business models. Through the intensive exchange of experiences, the practical discussion of current challenges and the focus on specific business issues, the format makes a significant contribution to the future viability of the participating companies.
