EuroISPA

eco is a founding member of the European umbrella Internet Service Providers Association, EuroISPA, which has its headquarters in Brussels and which has been actively representing the interests of its members at the European level since 1997.

The members meet in seven expert committee groups and at quarterly general assemblies, in order to both exchange information and views on national and European developments and to develop position papers and statements.

In 2025, EuroISPA and its committees further advanced their political activities on a range of key topics such as artificial intelligence and public safety.

eco also hosted several roundtable discussions in Brussels, focusing on dialogue with Members of the European Parliament.

In autumn 2025, Lars Steffen was confirmed as Vice-President of the EuroISPA Board. Michael Rotert remains as Honorary Speaker of the association. Oliver Süme serves as Chair of the EuroISPA Data Economy Committee. Vivien Witt represents eco on the Board of the European Internet Forum (EIF).
