Mobility Competence Group<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, the eco Mobility Competence Group further refined its profile as a strategic interface between the Internet industry and the mobility sector. At the Advisory Board meeting in Munich in July 2025, the thematic guidelines for the Competence Group\u2019s future work were established, with a clear focus on data-driven mobility ecosystems, AI, connected vehicles, cybersecurity and high-performance digital infrastructures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Competence Group provided public impetus through initiatives such as the Mobility Innovation Summit 2025 in Berlin, documented on the eco Mobility website, as well as through substantive contributions to the political and technical debate \u2013 for example, via the Advisory Board\u2019s position paper on transport policy direction-setting and its statements in the context of IAA Mobility 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, the Advisory Board was strategically expanded in 2025 to include, amongst others, Philipp Merlitz (T-Systems), Prof. Benedikt Maier (Ifa Institute), Dr Julian Weber (VDA) and Ioannis Lalissidis (DAT), who contributed additional perspectives from connected mobility, cybersecurity, AI and the platform economy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
